For too long, custom cabinetry in Rochester has followed the same patterns — predictable designs, vague timelines, and experiences that leave homeowners and builders settling for “good enough.” At Traditional Cabinet Company, we’re changing the process. With nearly 70 years of combined expertise, we’ve built a business on raising expectations and creating a new standard for custom cabinetry.

Our Team
Doug Burton
Owner & Sales and Design Manager
I discovered my passion for cabinetry in high school and never looked back. Over the years, I’ve done it all — from sweeping floors to building, finishing, installing, and leading crews. With nearly four decades of hands-on experience, I bring both craftsmanship and vision to every project. Today, my focus is on raising the standard for cabinetry in Rochester and shaping spaces that stand the test of time.
Lucas Bestrom
Owner & Operations Director
I learned the value of craftsmanship from my grandfather and carried it into a lifelong career in cabinetry. For me, this business is about more than wood and finishes — it’s about reimagining how the cabinet trade should serve homeowners and builders alike.
